The Bane Of The Cosmic Forge is the first part in the three-game story arc that spans Wizardry 6-8. It has always been so that the Cosmic Lords had possession of an artifact, the Cosmic Forge, a pen, that had the ability to alter everything in the cosmos. Of course, a pen with such powers was doomed to be stolen one time. And so it did.
The new King and his Wizard managed to obtain that pen, after which they wrote things so evil.
But this didn't last for long, because they became jealous of each other, and wanted the pen for themselves.
All is quiet in that castle now after more then 120 years ago.
